I believe in creating meaningful books that inspire and connect. Let me help you create wonderful memories with your little one.
I Am Going to Bake Today is an autism-friendly, Gestalt language-friendly baking book designed to help children build confidence, independence, and everyday life skills through fun, step-by-step baking activities.
With visual supports, predictable routines, simple language, and engaging recipes, this book encourages children of all abilities to learn, communicate, and create while making delicious treats. Perfect for families, educators, therapists, and support workers, I Am Going to Bake Today turns baking into a joyful learning adventure where every child can succeed.
I am a devoted wife, mother of four beautiful children—Cooper, Jackson, Charleigh, and Kelsie—and a passionate advocate for inclusion, learning, and connection.
Inspired by my youngest daughter, Kelsie, I created I Am Going to Bake Today to help children of all abilities build confidence, independence, and joy through baking.
As the mother of a child with Autism Level 3, severe global developmental delay, savant syndrome, and Gestalt Language Processing, who communicates in her own unique way, I understand the importance of creating resources that are visual, supportive, engaging, and accessible.
Through my love of family, learning, and everyday life skills, I designed this book to support children, parents, carers, therapists, and educators to create meaningful moments together in the kitchen.
When I'm not creating, I enjoy spending time with my husband and children, making memories, sharing good food, and celebrating every small step and achievement along the way.
Through this book, I hope to inspire children to discover that baking is more than making food—it is an opportunity to learn, connect, communicate, and shine.
Every child learns differently. Every child communicates differently. Every child shines in their own beautiful way.

I'm so excited to share that two new editions of my autism-friendly baking book are currently in development!
Designed with the same easy-to-follow, visual, autism-friendly approach, this version will feature a fresh design created especially for boys while keeping all the practical baking skills, confidence-building activities, and sensory-friendly supports that families have come to love.
Growing up doesn't mean the learning stops! The Teen Edition is being created with older children and teenagers in mind, using a more mature design while continuing to support independence in the kitchen. It will include age-appropriate recipes, practical life skills, confidence-building activities, and an engaging layout that respects teenage learners.
Both books will continue to support autistic learners, Gestalt Language Processors, and young people who benefit from visual supports, predictable routines, and step-by-step guidance.
Thank you to everyone who has supported my first book. Your encouragement and feedback have inspired these new editions, and I can't wait to share them with you.
Stay tuned—more baking, more confidence, and more inclusive learning are coming soon!
